  • Minister of Agriculture in the second government of His Excellency Mr. Wasfi al-Tal from December 2, 1962, to March 27, 1963.
  • Minister of Interior for Municipal and Rural Affairs in the third government of His Excellency Mr. Wasfi al-Tal from July 31, 1965, to December 22, 1966.
  • Minister of Interior for Municipal and Rural Affairs in the fourth government of His Excellency Mr. Wasfi al-Tal from December 22, 1966, to March 4, 1967.
  • Minister of Interior for Municipal and Rural Affairs and Minister of Agriculture in the second government of His Excellency Mr. Abdul Munim Rifai from June 27, 1970, to September 15, 1970.
  • Minister of Agriculture in the government of His Excellency Sharif Abdul Hamid Sharaf from December 19, 1979, to July 3, 1980.
  • Formed the government from July 3, 1980, to August 28, 1980, and held the position of Prime Minister and Minister of Defense.
