• Minister of Health in the government of His Excellency Mr. Mudar Badran's second term from August 19, 1978, to December 19, 1979.
• Minister of Public Works and Housing in the government of His Excellency Mr. Mudar Badran's fourth term from December 7, 1989, to June 19, 1991.
• Minister of Education and Minister of State for Prime Ministry Affairs in the government of His Excellency Dr. Abdul Salam al-Majali's first term from June 8, 1994, to January 7, 1995.
• Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education in the government of His Royal Highness Prince Zeid bin Shaker's third term from January 8, 1995, to February 4, 1996.
